Solen Homes is a boutique architecture and interior design studio based in Marbella, Spain. We take on a select number of projects each year, creating thoughtful, individual spaces shaped by their surroundings, natural light and the way our clients live.

At Solen Homes we see architecture as a way of listening before designing. Every residence is born from the people who will live in it, from their way of life, from their story and from the place where a new chapter begins.
We believe in an architecture that is serene, honest and deeply personal.
As a boutique atelier, we choose to take on a limited number of projects each year, so that we can give each one the time, sensitivity and level of detail it deserves.
Through architecture, interior design, landscape design and full management of the process, we guide our clients with a single purpose:
To create homes that are not only beautiful, but feel as if they had always been there, waiting to be lived in.

Founder
Solen Homes was not born on the day the studio opened.
It was born long before, through the places I have lived, the people I have met and the different ways of understanding home that I discovered around the world.
My path began in Madrid, where I studied Architecture. It continued in São Paulo and later in New York, experiences that broadened my understanding of design and taught me that a project must not only move people, but also work.
But it was far from the drawing board that I learned one of the most important lessons.
In Bali I worked alongside local artisans designing collections for international hotels. Homeware, textiles, furniture, jewellery and pieces made slowly, one by one. There I understood that beauty does not lie only in the result, but in the time devoted to creating, in respect for materials and in the value of what is made by hand.
Then came the Dominican Republic, Cape Verde, Mauritius and Dubai. Each place let me discover other ways of living, other ways of relating to architecture, nature and light.
When I finally arrived in Marbella, I understood that all those experiences were part of a single story.
A way of seeing.
The conviction that a home does not begin with a plan, but with the people who will live in it.
That is how Solen Homes was born.
An atelier where architecture, interior design and landscape are conceived as a single discipline. Where every project receives the time it needs, every material is chosen with intention and every decision seeks to create serene, honest and timeless spaces. Because we believe true luxury lies in doing things calmly, with judgement and with intention.

Marcela embodies the aesthetic sensibility of Solen Homes. Her energy, her optimism and her ability to find beauty in small details have been part of this project since day one and were essential in giving it shape.
Within the studio she leads styling and decoration, adding that final layer that turns a carefully designed house into a home full of personality. Her intuition for combining materials, textures, furniture, art and objects gives every project a unique identity, always in keeping with the architecture and with each client’s way of life.
Her passion for craftsmanship and for pieces with a story will also bring to life a new dimension of Solen Homes: our future Atelier. A space where we will gather a curated selection of furniture, ceramics, lighting, textiles and objects discovered on our travels around the world. Pieces chosen not to follow trends, but for their authenticity, their quality and the story they carry, becoming a natural extension of our design philosophy.
